They aim to connect gamers around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat from everywhere they play. All WCS matches are broadcast on Twitch LIVE in multiple languages. If any fans miss the action when it happens, all the games are captured and saved in HD VODs.
AfreecaTV is a popular video streaming service located in South Korea. The service is popular for streaming esports and video games. Major Functions allow access to broadcasting, viewing, channel listings, live chatting, and discussion boards. Independent broadcasters called Broadcasting Jockeys (BJs) deliver live broadcasts to viewers, who can add them to their list of favorite channels using an Afreeca Player tool – some channels have tens of thousands of viewers at any given time. In July 2015, AfreecaTV acquired the GOMeXP studio, producers of the Global StarCraft II League (GSL). And in October 2015, they became the official broadcaster of GSL
The Electronic Sports League is the largest and most important league for gamers in Europe consisting of around 4 million registered members and more than 800,000 registered teams. ESL is operated by the company Turtle Entertainment GmbH since 2000 and offers more than 3,500 professional leagues and amateur ladders from a variety of games. Nearly 400,000 matches per month are being played worldwide using the ESL technology. The ESL website currently reaches above 2,5 million unique visitors a month and about 35,000 new players register every month.

DreamHack consists of several events held throughout Europe and in 2016 DreamHack will hold its first event on the American continent in Austin, Texas.
