A Note on Official Casters

Many of our Community Casters have asked us about what Official Caster status means, and how they can participate in more events. Community members who we recognize as Official Casters are often well-regarded figures in the StarCraft scene, and may have built up significant audiences through their dedication to the game. These Official Casters are held to higher professional standards in their broadcasts, and are sometimes called upon to cover more exclusive events.

Providing Community Casters an opportunity to cover official WCS tournaments and level up their game is something we strive for. As we continue to follow the progress of our Community Casters, we want to thank everyone for their passion and support. We know there are many casters out there who are working to up their game and build their audience, and we hope that the opportunities that WCS Challenger and other events provide are a valuable part of the process.
